What a website really costs in Malaysia (and what is not in the price)
The most common question we get is also the hardest to answer online: "How much?" Here is the whole picture, including the parts people forget to ask about.
1. The build (one-time)
This is the part that varies by size.
- Starter, RM690: a one-page website for a first web presence.
- Business, RM1,490: up to 5 pages, with services and gallery pages.
- Growth, RM2,490: up to 10 pages, with analytics and SEO for 5 target keywords.
Each package includes hosting and SSL for the first year, a WhatsApp button, mobile-friendly design and basic training.
2. The domain (yearly, paid to the registrar)
A domain such as yourbusiness.com.my is not part of the package, on purpose. It usually runs roughly RM60 to RM90 a year, paid directly to the registrar. We help you register it in your name, so you always own it, even if you move away from us.
3. Renewal from year two
From the second year, hosting and SSL renew at RM390 a year. We remind you a month before anything is due.
4. Optional: Refill plans
If you would rather have someone on hand for edits, a monthly plan covers hosting plus changes: Lite at RM120/month, Combo at RM290/month, or Free Flow at RM690/month for as many small changes as you can send.
The honest summary
Budget for the build, then roughly RM60 to RM90 for the domain each year, then RM390 a year for hosting from year two, unless you choose a Refill plan that includes it.
